GDPR – are you getting ready?

It is now under a year until general data protection regulation (GDPR) reform. NCVO’s next data protection training is in July and the Knowhow Nonprofit page on data protection and fundraising is also worth checking out. In addition, the Institute of Fundraising are running a whole series of events on data protection for fundraisers, and Bates Wells & Braithwaite have issued these top 10 tips on GDPR.

Don’t underestimate teenagers!

Teenagers are almost twice as likely to have fundraised for good causes than adults, new figures released by the National Citizen Service has revealed. The research, which was launched to coincide with Volunteers’ Week, shows that adults are more likely to have participated in charitable activities than adults.

London Marathon Charitable Trust launches first national funding programme

London Marathon Charitable Trust has announced its first UK-wide funding programme, aimed at protecting open spaces and tackling physical inactivity across the UK.

Barrow Cadbury Trust launches fund to boost social investment market

The Barrow Cadbury Trust is launching a £1.8m Connect Fund for social investment infrastructure in England. The Connect Fund will provide grants and investments.
